In our many years helping people recover from property damage, we have found an increasingly common theme: “I didn't know”. Countless times we talk to homeowners who simply didn't know what questions to ask, what steps to take, who to contact, what a fair settlement was, or if they should actually file a claim in the first place. They simply didn't have the answers to these questions.
